Food truck catering in Georgetown: common questions
How do I book a food truck for an event in Georgetown?
Pick a few trucks that fit your crowd and send each one your date, location, headcount and budget. Trucks with a Fork & Curb storefront accept catering requests online and reply with a quote. See food truck catering in Georgetown.
How much does food truck catering cost in Georgetown?
It depends on guest count, menu, service hours, travel distance and the date. Many trucks price per guest or set a minimum spend for private events. Ask for a written quote that lists the minimum, service time, travel fees, taxes and the deposit.
How far ahead should I book a food truck?
Popular trucks fill weekends early, especially in spring and fall. Reach out as soon as you have a date and headcount, and confirm the deposit and cancellation terms in writing.
How many food trucks do I need for my event?
It depends on how many guests you expect and how long service runs. Tell each truck your headcount and service window and ask how many people it can serve in that time.
Do food trucks need a permit in Georgetown?
Yes. Food trucks generally need a state or county health permit, a local business license and permission from the property owner where they park. Georgetown may add its own zoning rules. Our permit guide explains how to find the rules and the office to call.
