How “bring the truck to me” pledges work and when you’re charged.
Saving your card
When you pledge, your card is saved securely with Stripe. You are not charged when you pledge.
When you’re charged
You’re charged only if the request reaches its minimum by the deadline and the Business confirms the visit. If it doesn’t, nobody is charged and everyone is notified.
Changes
You can withdraw your pledge until the Business confirms.
What the pledge covers
Read the requested visit, location, minimum, deadline and pledge amount before confirming. A pledge supports that specific request; it is not an unrestricted charge authorization. Keep your payment method and contact information current so you can receive the outcome.
Before confirmation
Withdraw a pledge before the Business confirms if you no longer want to participate. A saved card is not proof that a visit is booked. The request’s result and the Business’s confirmation determine whether the pledge proceeds.
Changes to a visit
A different date, place or charge requires a clear update and your agreement to the changed arrangement. If a confirmed visit cannot be fulfilled, contact support with the request reference and any payment receipt so the cancellation and refund can be resolved.
