How does food truck catering work on Fork & Curb?
Choose Request catering on a truck's Fork & Curb storefront and share your date, location, headcount and budget. The truck replies with a quote. When you accept, you pay the deposit online and the truck confirms the details with you directly.
How much does it cost to hire a food truck?
It depends on guest count, menu, service hours, travel distance and the date. Many trucks price per guest or set a minimum spend for private events. Ask for a written quote that lists the minimum, service time, travel fees, taxes and the deposit.
What should I ask a food truck before booking?
Ask about the minimum spend, how many guests the truck can serve per hour, how much space and power it needs, whether it carries insurance and the right permits for your location, and the deposit and cancellation terms.
Does my venue need a permit for a food truck?
Some cities require a permit or property-owner permission for trucks at private events, and public parks often have their own rules. Ask the truck and your venue, and see our permit guide for how to find local rules.
