Recipe to try at home

Small Batch Strawberry Jam

A bright refrigerator jam with just berries, sugar and lemon.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • Pinch of salt

Make it

  1. Stir berries, sugar, lemon juice and salt in a wide pot and let sit 15 minutes.
  2. Boil, stirring often, 15 to 20 minutes until a spoonful on a cold plate wrinkles when pushed.
  3. Pour into clean jars, cool, and keep refrigerated up to 3 weeks.
