Recipe to try at home

Honey Lavender Latte

Espresso and steamed milk sweetened with a floral honey lavender syrup.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp dried culinary lavender
  • 2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong coffee
  • 1 1/2 cups milk

Make it

  1. Simmer honey, water and lavender 2 minutes, steep 10 minutes, then strain.
  2. Heat and froth the milk.
  3. Stir 1 to 2 tbsp syrup into each espresso and top with milk.
