Recipe to try at home

Rose Water Rice Pudding

Creamy stovetop rice pudding with cardamom, rose water and pistachios.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup basmati rice, rinsed
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • 2 tbsp chopped pistachios
  • Dried rose petals to garnish (optional)

Make it

  1. Simmer rice and milk on low, stirring often, 35 to 40 minutes until thick.
  2. Stir in sugar and cardamom and cook 5 minutes more.
  3. Remove from heat, add rose water, and top with pistachios and petals.
