The Main Street Portsmouth In Bloom Farmers Market is a grower's and maker's market that follows the Ohio Cottage Industry Rules. Farmers or their employees sell their produce directly to customers at the market. Baked goods, canned goods, and crafts are sold by the people who create them. Ingredients
4 cups strawberries, hulled and chopped
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
Pinch of salt
Make it
Stir berries, sugar, lemon juice and salt in a wide pot and let sit 15 minutes.
Boil, stirring often, 15 to 20 minutes until a spoonful on a cold plate wrinkles when pushed.
Pour into clean jars, cool, and keep refrigerated up to 3 weeks.
