The King Street Farmers' Market, powered by Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture is returning for the 2022 season! The market has been operating since 2017! The King Street Market is a spacious, outdoor market that operates every Tuesday from May through October. The King Street Market is designed with working families in mind to give them the perfect opportunity to shop local during the week! We have a variety of vendors including produce, meat, eggs, dairy, bread, baked goods, crafts, soap and more!
A moist, lightly spiced loaf that makes good use of a big summer zucchini.
Ingredients
2 cups grated zucchini
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
Make it
Heat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x5 loaf pan.
Whisk sugar, oil and eggs, stir in zucchini, then fold in flour, soda, cinnamon and salt.
Bake 50 to 55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean; cool before slicing.
