Recipe to try at home

Honey Butter Biscuits

Tall, flaky buttermilk biscuits brushed with warm honey butter.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed, plus 2 tbsp melted
  • 1 cup cold buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp honey

Make it

  1. Heat oven to 450°F. Mix dry ingredients and cut in cold butter until pea-sized.
  2. Stir in buttermilk, fold the dough over itself 3 times, pat 1 inch thick and cut rounds.
  3. Bake 12 to 14 minutes until tall and golden; brush with melted butter mixed with honey.
