Herb Garden Pesto

A bright, nutty sauce from whatever herbs your pot or garden has to spare.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups packed basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup parsley or mint leaves
  • 1/3 cup toasted walnuts or pine nuts
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Make it

  1. Pulse herbs, nuts, parmesan and garlic in a food processor until finely chopped.
  2. With the motor running, stream in olive oil until smooth.
  3. Stir in lemon juice and salt; keep refrigerated and use within 5 days.
