At Golden Villa Farmers' Market, we're all about supporting the local community. Our vendors sell an assortment of quality goods to residents at unbeatable prices._x000d_ Previously known as the Asian Farmers' Market, we have been a Stockton staple since 1979. We're open year-round every Saturday. Our hours are 5:00 to 10:00 AM. However, arriving earlier at the market is encouraged as merchants tend to sell out of items quickly.
A bright refrigerator jam with just berries, sugar and lemon.
Ingredients
4 cups strawberries, hulled and chopped
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
Pinch of salt
Make it
Stir berries, sugar, lemon juice and salt in a wide pot and let sit 15 minutes.
Boil, stirring often, 15 to 20 minutes until a spoonful on a cold plate wrinkles when pushed.
Pour into clean jars, cool, and keep refrigerated up to 3 weeks.
