Herb Infused Honey
Warm honey steeped with rosemary or thyme for drizzling on cheese and biscuits.
Ingredients
- 1 cup honey
- 3 sprigs fresh rosemary or thyme, fully dried after rinsing
- 1 strip lemon peel
- 4 black peppercorns (optional)
- 1 clean 8-oz jar
Make it
- Gently warm honey in a small pot until runny; do not boil.
- Add herbs and lemon peel, steep off heat 1 hour, then strain out all solids.
- Store in a clean jar and use within 1 month.
