We are a family owned and operated naturally grown produce farm offering the freshest fruits and vegetables. We are located in Showell Maryland about 3 1/2 miles from the North Gate of Ocean Pines. We offer farm tours and farm classes and demonstrations. We have a farm stand and farm store. Look for our harvest festival in October.
Crisp, tangy cucumbers with sesame and a little heat, ready in 15 minutes.
Ingredients
2 English cucumbers, thinly sliced
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp sesame seeds
Make it
Toss cucumbers with salt and let sit 10 minutes, then squeeze out the liquid.
Stir vinegar, sugar, sesame oil and pepper flakes until sugar dissolves.
Toss with cucumbers and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
