Recipe to try at home
Carne Asada Tacos
Citrus and garlic marinated steak, seared hot and tucked into corn tortillas.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb flank or skirt steak
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 2 limes, juiced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 12 small corn tortillas
- 1/2 cup diced onion and cilantro
Make it
- Marinate steak in juices, garlic, cumin and 1 tsp salt for 30 minutes.
- Sear in a very hot pan or grill 4 to 5 minutes per side until 145°F, then rest 5 minutes.
- Slice thinly against the grain and serve in warm tortillas with onion and cilantro.
