Black tea simmered with warm spices and milk for a fragrant, cozy cup.
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup water
- 2 black tea bags
- 4 cardamom pods, cracked
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 thin slices fresh ginger
- 2 tbsp sugar or honey
Make it
- Simmer water, cardamom, cinnamon and ginger for 5 minutes.
- Add tea bags and milk and heat until steaming, about 4 minutes.
- Strain into mugs and sweeten to taste.
