Cuban Style Pressed Sandwich
Roast pork, ham, Swiss, pickles and mustard pressed until crisp and melty.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf soft French or Cuban bread
- 8 oz sliced roast pork
- 6 oz sliced ham
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- Dill pickle slices
- 3 tbsp yellow mustard
- 2 tbsp butter
Make it
- Split bread, spread with mustard, and layer pork, ham, cheese and pickles.
- Butter the outside and cook in a skillet with a heavy pan pressing on top, 3 to 4 minutes per side.
- Cook until cheese melts and fillings are hot, then slice on the diagonal.
