Paneer and Pea Masala
Golden cubes of paneer and sweet peas in a gently spiced tomato gravy.
Ingredients
- 8 oz paneer, cubed
- 1 1/2 cups peas
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp butter or ghee
Make it
- Brown paneer in butter and set aside.
- Cook onion and garlic 6 minutes, add spices, then tomato puree and 1/2 cup water; simmer 8 minutes.
- Add peas and paneer and simmer 5 minutes more.
