Chicken Tikka Skillet
Yogurt-marinated chicken in a creamy, spiced tomato sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb boneless chicken thighs, cubed
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, grated
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
Make it
- Toss chicken with yogurt, half the spices and 1 tsp salt; marinate 20 minutes.
- Sear chicken in an oiled skillet until browned. Add garlic, ginger and remaining spices, then tomato sauce.
- Simmer 10 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F, then stir in cream.
