Honey Butter Biscuits
Tall, flaky buttermilk biscuits brushed with warm honey butter.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed, plus 2 tbsp melted
- 1 cup cold buttermilk
- 2 tbsp honey
Make it
- Heat oven to 450°F. Mix dry ingredients and cut in cold butter until pea-sized.
- Stir in buttermilk, fold the dough over itself 3 times, pat 1 inch thick and cut rounds.
- Bake 12 to 14 minutes until tall and golden; brush with melted butter mixed with honey.
