Cinnamon Coffee Cake
Soft sour cream cake with a crunchy cinnamon crumb, made for coffee time.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup brown sugar mixed with 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
Make it
- Heat oven to 350°F and grease an 8-inch square pan.
- Cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs and sour cream, then stir in flour, baking powder and soda.
- Spread half the batter, sprinkle half the cinnamon sugar, repeat, and bake 35 to 40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
