Rose Water Rice Pudding
Creamy stovetop rice pudding with cardamom, rose water and pistachios.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup basmati rice, rinsed
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
- 1 tsp rose water
- 2 tbsp chopped pistachios
- Dried rose petals to garnish (optional)
Make it
- Simmer rice and milk on low, stirring often, 35 to 40 minutes until thick.
- Stir in sugar and cardamom and cook 5 minutes more.
- Remove from heat, add rose water, and top with pistachios and petals.
