Korean Beef Rice Bowls

Sweet and savory ground beef with garlic and ginger over steamed rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 4 cups cooked rice
  • Sliced green onions

Make it

  1. Brown beef in a skillet, breaking it up, until no pink remains and it reaches 160°F; drain.
  2. Stir in garlic and ginger for 1 minute, then soy sauce, sugar and sesame oil and simmer 2 minutes.
  3. Spoon over rice and top with green onions.
