Rice Family Farm

Ingredients

• 2 cans (15 oz) red kidney beans, with liquid
• 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
• 1 onion, diced
• 1 green bell pepper, diced
• 2 celery ribs, diced
• 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
• 2 cups chicken broth
• 4 cups cooked rice

Make it

1. Brown sausage in a pot, then add onion, pepper and celery and cook 6 minutes.
2. Add beans, broth and seasoning; simmer 25 minutes, mashing some beans to thicken.
3. Serve over rice with hot sauce.
