Teriyaki Chicken Skewers
Glossy, homemade teriyaki chicken on skewers, great off the grill or broiler.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb boneless chicken thighs, cubed
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, grated
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water
Make it
- Simmer soy, honey, vinegar, ginger and garlic; stir in cornstarch slurry until glossy. Set half aside.
- Thread chicken on skewers and grill or broil 10 to 12 minutes, turning and brushing with sauce, until 165°F.
- Serve with the reserved clean sauce for drizzling.
