Hibiscus Agua Fresca
A deep red, tangy-sweet cooler steeped from dried hibiscus flowers.
Ingredients
- 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
- 8 cups water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 lime, sliced
- Ice
Make it
- Bring 4 cups water to a boil, add hibiscus and cinnamon, and steep off heat 15 minutes.
- Strain, stir in sugar until dissolved, then add remaining cold water.
- Chill and serve over ice with lime slices.
