Chicken Souvlaki Pitas

Lemon-oregano chicken skewers in warm pitas with tzatziki.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb boneless chicken, cubed
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 pitas
  • 1 cup tzatziki
  • Sliced tomato and onion

Make it

  1. Marinate chicken in oil, lemon, oregano, garlic and 1 tsp salt for 30 minutes.
  2. Thread onto skewers and grill or broil 10 to 12 minutes, turning, until 165°F.
  3. Serve in warm pitas with tzatziki, tomato and onion.
