Turkey Chili with Beans

A hearty, weeknight chili of ground turkey, beans and warm spices.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cans (15 oz) beans, rinsed
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Make it

  1. Brown turkey with onion and pepper, breaking it up, until no pink remains (165°F).
  2. Stir in spices, tomatoes, beans and broth.
  3. Simmer 25 minutes, season with salt, and top with cheese or sour cream.
