Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup water plus 4 cups cold water
- 1/2 cup basil leaves
- 1/2 cup mint leaves
- Ice
Make it
- Simmer sugar with 1 cup water until dissolved, add herbs and steep 20 minutes; strain.
- Stir syrup into lemon juice and cold water.
- Serve over ice with fresh herb sprigs.
