Charred Green Beans with Sesame
Blistered green beans in a garlicky soy glaze with toasted sesame.
Ingredients
- 1 lb green beans, trimmed
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Make it
- Cook beans in oil over high heat 6 to 8 minutes until blistered in spots.
- Add garlic for 30 seconds, then soy sauce and sugar and toss until glazed.
- Finish with sesame oil and seeds.
