Chicken Souvlaki Pitas
Lemon-oregano chicken skewers in warm pitas with tzatziki.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb boneless chicken, cubed
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 pitas
- 1 cup tzatziki
- Sliced tomato and onion
Make it
- Marinate chicken in oil, lemon, oregano, garlic and 1 tsp salt for 30 minutes.
- Thread onto skewers and grill or broil 10 to 12 minutes, turning, until 165°F.
- Serve in warm pitas with tzatziki, tomato and onion.
